The lake, the people, the south - that's what we love about Lake Providence, Louisiana, and also why we opened our restaurant, The Dock. We loved the idea of eating great seafood with good friends while watching the sunset over our magnificent lake. If you're the type that would rather enjoy the air conditioning, come and sit in our enclosed patio and bask in the view. Our menu consists of local favorites such as alligator, shrimp, boudin, catfish, crawfish, and steaks.

In 1983, Dan and Ken planned a restaurant that would use only the best ingredients and the time-tested "Low and Slow" philosophy, bringing amazing BBQ to Monroe and all of Northeast Louisiana.

We start early at the break of day, Monday through Saturday, when our team begins preparing scratch-made sides and sauces, baking bread, cutting potatoes, and cooking our ribs and meats Low and Slow.

Sam's Southern Eatery was founded on an idea of bringing great Southern cuisine to the people. We wanted to be able to serve our special recipes and show the restaurant business that you can have amazing flavor and huge portions, all at a very reasonable price!

In 2008 we opened our first location in Shreveport, Louisiana; we have now grown to over fifty-one locations in nine Southern states with over 750 employees. Offering high quality food, healthy eating options, and generous portions at competitive prices is what drives our success.

The Old Hardware Fish House is a place you can come and have the finest catfish around. Along side amazing chicken, hushpuppies and the largest salads bar in the area.
